"Without support from the IEC Foundation and The Home Depot, I don’t believe that we could have accommodated our large classes this year," said chapter president Don Hulsey, of Hulsey Electric in Lowell, Indiana.
Board member John Evorik of Evorik Electric in Crown Point added, "Our new labs and additional resources from The Home Depot’s program with the IEC Foundation are adding tremendously to our training capacity."
The Home Depot ProXtra program provides IEC members the opportunity to receive a dividend of 2% of their annual purchases made throughout the calendar year. In addition, The Home Depot supports the IEC Foundation with an additional 1/2 percent of the total spend of the IEC's program, which then funds a grant opportunity for IEC chapters to request funding to improve their training facilities in ways like Midwest IEC has this past year. The IEC Foundation anticipates receiving $169,886 from The Home Depot in this upcoming grant cycle, from the success of the ProXtra Program in 2017! Thank you to The Home Depot for your continued support for our mission! To learn more about Foundation Programs including The Home Depot ProXtra Program visit http://www.iec-foundation.org.
